The term is thrown around loosely but what actually defines an area as a ghetto area? Any examples of some towns that fit the definition?

  5. Low income, high crime. or at least what it's considered in my small-town America!

  6. South Central L.A. , most of Memphis, TN, parts of Philadelphia, Jackson, Ms, etc. the list goes on. In my book, it's a part of the town, or the whole town or city itself, that's high in crime, has a very high unemployment rate, has thug-like people walking the streets for no apparent reason, has dilapidated buildings, etc. etc.
