  1. A degree in International Business is an excellent option. It creates a variety of opportunities to travel abroad, however, fluency in a foreign language is usually a requirement, or at least a strong recommendation. Traveling can be a large part of any job, depending on the company you work for and what position you hold. A degree in International Business will start you in the right direction.

  2. I know of a person who became an engineer (4 years BSc degree), but then decided she wants to travel the world.

So, she became a tour guide. I think she's very happy traveling the world and getting payed for.

Another way you could travel to different places with your job, would be to be some kind of field tech person. Many companies who sell products world wide (like cellular antenas or even xerox machines) need a technician to give support and install their products wherever they sell them to. Sometimes such companies need a person to just train the locals on how to use their products, which by definition means only short term visits to different places.

In any case I would suggest that appart from gaining the proper techinical training to be able to give such support you'd also learn some languages (like chinese, german, spanish, or whatever) that may be of use in such a job.

  3. Arab Studies or international Business.

  4. Why not become a pilot, or an airline attendant?, or even a photographer...that would be cool.

  5. Join the marines and military and you shall meet many different people....

You could join the foreign service and major in a bunch of languages and travel.

Major in Int. business, a few languages and finance and accounting and you can travel abroad.

Study abroad in college would work as well.

Engineering and geology (working for oil companies) are great majors to work overseas with.

Go into medicine and work anywhere.  Be a doctor or pharmacist or dentist.  All you need are the AMA pre-reqs.

Just dont major in some BS major and believe that follow your dream BS.  That wil leave you with an Art history degree or some humanities degree and the unemployment line.

Be realistic and do something that leads to a job.

A good job= wife, house, car or many girlfriends.  People may say that you are being a materialistic snob but that grows a little old when you have been working at chiles for 5 yrs.
