What degree did you study?

what degree did you study and why? i'm still trying to find out what i want to study. any suggestions?

Pharmacy  - I chose this field in the early 80's when the steel industry in the midwest was taking a terrible hit.  The economy was bad and it hit my family.  My parents encouraged my to work in health care because it seems to be recession proof.

Truthfully, pharmacy is a difficult field of study.  However, if you can do the math and chemistry in the early years and also pass the memorizing parts later on in the curriculum - - it is hard to find a more lucrative position for the time spent in school. (a total of 6 years if you know that you plan to major in pharmacy when you start)

Pharmacists are in high demand and starting salaries are within a couple dollars an hour of the salaries of experienced pharmacists.  Not a bad way to go, at all!
