  1. The "A" stands for approach.  It is is simply just another name for a gap wedge.  I believe that most Nike sets come standard 4-A, meaning that it would come with a 4i (iron), 5i, 6i, 7i, 8i, 9i, PW, and AW.  A gap (or approach) wedge typically is anywhere from 49-53 degrees, depending on the brand of clubs your have and/or are looking at to purchase.  So my guess is that your "A" wedge has the standard 52 degrees of loft.  This would also mean that you would hit this farther than a sand wedge or  a lob wedge.  Hope I helped

  2. Its an Attack wedge, not an approach wedge. They are 50*, between a pitching wedge and a gap wedge. pretty rare in iron sets. the only one I know comes with one is the Taylor made rack OS irons. You can use it to hit into greens from short distances when you do not need to get the ball into the air. its a really useful club to have.....Good luck!

  3. It's the same as a gap wedge so 52* or 53*.
