What degrees should i go after if i want o be an environmental specialist?

It depends on what you want to do. If you know what you want to specialize in, you can go for that and have a leg up on the people with a more general education. For example, my degrees are all in zoology and I have a small local reputation in the field. Granted, there aren't THAT many turtle specialists in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

Many schools offer BS degrees in Environmental Science. Then you can take courses that pertain to your field of interest, like ecology, soils, remediation, etc.
