What degress do you need to become a pre-k or kindergraden teacher?

4 to 5

4 years for a BA and 2 years for your masters so 6 total

but you can teach after 4.

Also the chances of getting that position is slim.  You get certified to teach pre-k to 6th grade so you can teach any of those grades.

you could probably get a bachelor's degree (4 years) in early childhood education.
