  6. These are easy and everyone loves.

    INGREDIENTS

    1 cup light corn syrup

    1 cup white sugar

    1 1/2 cups peanut butter

    6 cups crisp rice cereal

    1/2 cup butterscotch chips

    1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

    DIRECTIONS

Generously butter a 9x13 inch baking pan. Set aside.

In a large pot, mix together corn syrup, sugar, and peanut butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring until peanut butter melts. Bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat, and stir in crisp rice cereal.

Transfer mixture into a well buttered 9x13 inch pan. With your hands well buttered, pat it down into pan.

In a medium saucepan, over medium low heat, melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips until smooth. Spread over top of bars and let bars cool. Cut into squares.

  7. this is DELICIOUS but really easy & doesn't require any cooking/baking: mini cheesecakes! for the filling, mix together 2 8-oz packages cream cheese (softened), 1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk, 1/4 cup lemon juice, and 1 tsp vanilla. line a few muffin tins with paper cupcake liners and place an oreo in the bottom of each (this will be the "crust"). fill each cup with the cream cheese mixture and let set in the fridge or freezer for at least an hour. i get raves whenever i make these! :-)

  8. BBQ Banana

Get Banana push chocolate bits into banana and wrap in tin foil BBQ for a few min and then unwrap (beward of steam) and serve

or don't use the rum in the recipe below

Grilled Banana Splits with Hot Fudge and Rum Caramel Sauce

6 firm-ripe bananas, halved lengthwise (unpeeled)

    6 tablespoons honey

    12 tablespoons light brown sugar

    Vanilla ice cream, for serving

Hot Fudge Sauce, for serving, recipe follows

Rum Caramel Sauce, for serving, recipe follows

2 cups lightly sweetened whipped cream, for serving

Finely chopped roasted peanuts, for serving

    6 maraschino cherries, for serving

Preheat a grill to high and lightly oil the grill grates.

Place the banana halves cut side up on a baking sheet and drizzle evenly with the honey. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and transfer to the grill, cut side up, arranging the bananas perpendicular to the grill grates. Close the grill cover and cook until bananas are caramelized around the edges and the fruit is beginning to pull away from the peel, 3 to 5 minutes depending on your grill. Carefully transfer the grilled banana halves (still in their skins) to a small baking sheet. Using 2 small forks or a long, thin spatula, carefully remove the banana from its skin and place 2 pieces of banana on each of 6 serving plates. (This is a little tricky since the bananas are now very soft.) Top each banana with 1 or 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. Drizzle with Hot Fudge Sauce and Rum Caramel Sauce. Top with dollops of whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Top each serving with a maraschino cherry and serve immediately.

    Hot Fudge Sauce:

    1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

    1/2 cup sugar

    3/4 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons light corn syrup

    3 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped

    2 tablespoons unsalted butter

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Pinch salt

Combine the cocoa powder and sugar in the top of a double boiler over briskly simmering water and whisk to combine. Add the heavy cream and corn syrup and whisk until smooth. Cook, whisking constantly, until mixture is hot, thick and creamy, 3 to 5 minutes. Add the chocolate, butter, vanilla and salt and stir to combine. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate and butter are melted and the sauce is smooth, 2 to 3 minutes. Keep warm until ready to serve. (The sauce may be prepared up to several weeks in advance and reheated gently in a double boiler before serving.)

    Yield: about 2 cups

    Rum Caramel Sauce:

    3/4 cup sugar

    1/4 cup hot water

1 cup plus 1 tablespoon heavy cream

    2 tablespoons dark rum

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    2 teaspoons cold unsalted butter

In a heavy saucepan combine the sugar and water and cook over high heat until the sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Continue to cook, swirling occasionally but never stirring the sugar mixture, until mixture thickens and turns a deep amber color, 5 to 8 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the heavy cream; be careful, the mixture will splatter. Return the pan to the heat and reduce the heat to medium. Allow to cook until the sauce is thick and creamy, stirring occasionally to help incorporate the cream, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the rum, vanilla and butter. Serve warm. (If making the sauce in advance, rewarm the sauce before serving.)

    Yield: about 1 1/2 cups

  10. Google crock pot cake,my sister makes them all the time, wonderful, especially the chocolate with the carmel

  11. How much time do you have ? A very easy recipe is to cut "ripe" peaches (they must be soft) in halve, take out the pit, then moderately sprinkle with sugar. Then lightly sprinkle with a little cinnamon and let sit for a little while. Then BBQ on both sides over medium heat for about 4 to 5 minutes per side to canalize the natural, and added sugars (may take less time to get the "grill marks") Then dice the peaches and let sit while you scoop a little French vanilla ice cream into a single serving bowl for each person. The peaches will give off a bit of liquid (glaze) , so place into a bowl as soon as you cut the peaches, then scoop some of the peaches over the ice cream. The peaches will taste just like a peach cobbler, only better. My family loves this recipe, and I never have much leftovers. The other choice I do is a BBQ blueberry crumble, just takes longer with more effort. Let me know if you want the recipe.   GOOD LUCK

  17. Semi-homemade ice cream sandwiches.  Buy favorite cookies from bakery - I love Costco's cookies for this since they are nice & big.  Buy favorite ice cream.

Put cookies in the freezer, leave ice cream to soften.  Then on parchment lined cookie sheet, turn cookies upside down (round side down, flat side up) & scoop ice cream on top.  Use another cookie (flat side down) on top to smoosh ice cream forming a sandwich.

As an extra touch, roll the ice cream edge in a yummy topping - chocolate chips, toasted coconut or candy pieces.  Eat or store cookie in freezer.  For a pretty touch & easy individual carrying, I would wrap each cookie in parchment paper & tie with ribbon or twine.
