    This is my way of making banana pudding....how do you make yours.

    I usually double the recipe....never any left-overs.

    Ingredients:

    Bananas

    Use instant Banana pudding or vanilla pudding fix by directions on box.

    Cool Whip...add to pudding mix thoroughly.

    Vanilla wafers

    Toasted coconut.

    Line serving dish with a layer of vanilla wafers (a row up the sides of dish, also.)

    Add a layer of sliced of bananas

    Gently cover with a layer of 1/2 pudding mixture.

    Make a second layer of wafers, bananas & pudding.

    Top with some toasted cocoanut and/or crushed vanilla wafers.

    E-Z Candy

    (All recipes are mixed the same.)

    Melt ingredients, seperately in microwave until runny.

    Mix together and pour into serving dish.

    Chill until firm, cut & serve.

    Chocolate Fudge:

    16 oz. container of Fudge Frosting

    1 bag of Chocolate Chips (any flavor you like)

    Peanut Butter Fudge #1:

    1 small jar Peanut Butter (18 oz.)

    2 bags of Peanut Butter Chips

    Peanut Butter Fudge #2:

    1 small jar Peanut Butter (18oz.)

    16 oz. container of White Frosting

    Marshmallow Nougat:

    1 small jr Marshmallow Creme

    1 bag White Chocolate Chips

    1 tsp. Almond Flavoring

    1 small bag Chopped Nuts

    (I've made this without the flavoring & nuts....I want to try

    rolling

    into balls and dipping in a chocolate coating....sounds good to

    me.)

    I've doubled all the above recipes. The Marshmallow Nougat

    recipe...doubled and added a container of white frosting (had an

    extra one....so thought....why not!)

    I use a double boiler..(prefer the double

    boiler)...add chips in first ...then rest of

    ingredients.....saving

    nuts and flavorings for last.

    Pastry for two-crust 9-inch pie

    36 RITZ Crackers

  2. not unique but if you make these cookies people will be asking you the recipe

    INGREDIENTS

        * 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

        * 2 teaspoons baking soda

        * 2 cups butter, softened

        * 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar

        * 1/2 cup white sugar

        * 2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix

        * 4 eggs

        * 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

        * 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips

        * 2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)

    DIRECTIONS

       1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.

       2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

       3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.

  3. Oreo cake.  You will need one Devil's Food cake mix, 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened, 1 tub of frozen whipped topping, such as Cool Whip, 12 Oreos, crushed (the best way to do this is to put the Oreos in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin),1/4 cup white sugar, two squares of semi-sweet baking chocolate and 1 tablespoon butter.  First make the cake.  Follow directions for two nine inch round pans.  Meanwhile, combine the cream cheese, whipped topping, Oreos and sugar in a mixer or food processor.   Then melt the choocolate and butter together in the microwave.  When the cakes have cooled completely, put the cream cheese/whipped topping mixture on top of one cake, then put the other cake on top.  Cover that with the melted chocolate/butter.  This is a huge hit at pot lucks!

  4. Here's a couple of recipes that never fail to bring rave reviews:

    Jenny's Christmas Pie

    1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed milk

    1/3 cup fresh lemon juice

    1/2 pint heavy whipping cream

    1 Tsp vanilla

    1 Tsp almond extract

    1 can Cherry or Raspberry Pie Filling

    1 graham cracker crust

    Mix condensed milk with lemon juice and stir to thicken.  Whip cream and add extracts.  Fold whipped cream into milk mixture and spoon into crust.  Top with pie filling and chill for several hours before serving.  Yummy!

    Fresh Strawberry Trifle

    1 angel food cake or 1 frozen pound cake (defrosted)

    1 large package instant vanilla pudding

    1 large container CoolWhip

    6 cups sliced strawberries, sweetened with a little sugar

    Mix pudding using only 2 cups of milk.  Fold in 1/2 of the Coolwhip and set aside.  Sweeten sliced strawberries and let "juice" up for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.  Cut angel food cake or pound cake into chunks.  Layer as follows:

    1/3 of cake chunks

    1/3 of pudding

    1/3 of strawberries

    End with strawberries.  Top with remaining CoolWhip and chill until serving time.  yum!
