I understand they have to be under 500kb to post on a website (one in particular anyway). It's annoying when their too big to post. Is it possible to 'shrink' them at all?

  1. Sure - you can shrink them in Photobucket (if thats where you are hosting them) Paint in your Windows Accessories will do it too

  2. Here is a free on line photo resizer i have used it and found it easy to use and offering a good free service. no software download needed.

  3. Use a photo editor..  Infranview is a good, free editor that has lots of features. Once downloaded, open your picture in the program, and click on the "edit" tab and resize to 600 X 400 Pixels. That's usually a good size.

  4. If you have microsoft office picture manager you can resize easily. Just open with... microsoft office picture manager.... click 'edit pictures' .... then click 'resize'.   Resize to your needs.
