  2. should be able to color, write(a little), draw, paint, cut, tie own shoes, say their ABC's and count to at least 20. dress themselves, feed themselves.  Basically anything you can do except cook, clean and do laundry.  And should be able to wipe their own a$$!

  3. In addition: 6 year old who have had experiences in the kitchen can cook.  My son at 3 learned to use the microwave.  By the time he was 6 we cooked together all the time.  Some 6 year old if exposed read books and create their own stories.  They should be able to do some simple addition and subtraction, between 0-10.
