What device would I use to record live video footage onto a DVD?

I record live video footage with cameras and then combine the footage live to make a finished product. The only problem is I am in the need of a backup on a DVD in-case somehow the recording on the computer fails. I already know the computer can produce output video, but I need some more information regarding how to record onto a DVD while sending data to it. Any information regarding this subject or devices that I could use are greatly appreciated.

  2. Cucusoft Video to DVD Creator is a good choice. It converts popular video formats such as AVI, MPEG, WMV, DivX, DV, VOB to DVD and burn DVD movie played on portable or home DVD player. Any video to to VCD/DVD/SVCD is even faster than real-time.
