common sense,  good friends, (especially ones with camping experience.) food, shelter, love.

Knowledge of how to make tools from your surrounding area. being able to hunt. Knowledge of making fire. Know where a good running water source is (Unless your planning on staying in the Arctic), Knowing your surroundings and being able to make your own shelter and defend your self in any hostile environment. I have a degree in Anthropology and would love to try to make my own stone tools,but that's my suggestion.
