Why is Lauren so upset with her?

Actually, the rift didn't start with the s*x tape, that's just what sealed it. It started when Heidi was first dating Spencer and Lauren had dated his best friend Brody. Spencer and Lauren never really got along from the start. Spencer felt like Lauren was trying to force him and Heidi apart so he started trying to turn Heidi against her in turn. One night, Heidi and Spencer were hanging out with Lauren's friend Jen Bunny and they encouraged her to hook up with Brody even though Lauren had been dating him. Lauren was furious when she found out because she felt like Heidi had betrayed her and saw this as evidence that Spencer was a bad influence.

But Heidi has made several comments on the show & interviews that she knows for a fact that the s*x tape rumor is true.  I think Spencer started it (Brodi said that Spencer did it) because he was jealous of the friendship between Heidi & LC.  So he had to break it up.  He has manipulated her into his pupppet.  It is really sad.

There was a nasty rumor going around about how Lauren and Jason (who were together at time) had a s*x tape out. This rumor got out and it eventually ended up in Laguna Beach. When this rumor was going on Heidi was living with Spencer. Heidi never called Lauren to tell her that it wasn't her or if she was ok. Lauren automatically assumed it was Spencer because she knew Spencer didn't like her. So it was set in her mind that Spencer did it and she was mad at Heidi for not admitting to it or defending her friend. I can understand Lauren's side but it's unfortunate that she has no real proof of who started the rumor.
