  1. the police wouldnt do anything its a cookie

and thats bullshit i could see makeing them give him a new cookie but suspended? what the h**l is wrong with schools now days?

how old r u and what grade r u in?

  2. From what it seems, Your teachers may have looked at it like stealing. In all honesty you found a cookie that looked safe because it was wrapped up and ate it. Not thinking that someone may have still wanted to eat it. But where you're wrong is that you didn't bother to ask if it was anyone else's before eating. But i don't think its soo serious, it was just a cookie, you could've easily told the boy that you would bring him another from home, instead your teachers took it a bit further and suspended you. to answer your question if you were to take a cookie from a store, and got caught by police you may be charged with shoplifting, taking anything thats not yours is considered stealing. But of course its a cookie, it depends how valuable an item is or how you're taking it, those are all factors to seeing how severe your punishment is. But about the cookie on the bench from school i don't think you should've been suspended. You should've been given the chance to apologize to the boy about his cookie and offer to being him one from home. But again if you're known for taking things and being rowdy, the school may have made the right choice just to teach you a lesson not to take things that don't belong to you.

  3. You got suspended for being a *******.  If the cookie wasn't yours, it was someone else's.  When you took it and basically destroyed their future use for it, you stole it.

  4. Sounds like they suspended you for stealing...I would have your parents talk to your principle. Sometimes adults are jerks, the important thing is to not back down if you feel you didn't do anything wrong.

But look at it this way, all throughout high school, teachers power trip you into thinking that it is the most important thing in the world if you do something wrong.

Here is the truth, all that really matters in high school is your GPA and clubs. Additionally, it only matters while you are applying for college. After that no one cares!!!!

If you know you didn't do anything wrong and they wont do anything about it, just enjoy your day off. Finish high school with at least a 3.0 and don't tell anyone if you find another cookie! lol

  5. That's pretty harsh for eating a cookie. I guess they suspended you for stealing. You took something that wasn't yours.
