What did I see in the sky near denver on 7-19-08 around 9:53pm?

I saw something in the sky near Denver on 07-19 at 9:53pm. It was heading from west to east and produced a very bright light. At first I thought it was a satellite but because it seemed to produce light rather than reflect it. It lasted about 2 minutes. Any clues?

I looked up the international space station data for your area and it did fly by, but it was at 9:42 PM.  Its magnitude was -2.2, which is pretty bright.  If you want to get up early this morning, (Sunday), it will be even a little brighter at -2.5.  It will appear just before 4:06 AM.  It will start to be visible low in your northwest, fly almost straight overhead, and then disappear to your southeast.  You'll be able to see it for about 5 and a half minutes.

Perhaps a plane coming in for a landing.  There isn't enough information given to make any assumptions or conclusions about it.

To you that would have been a UFO...unidentified flying object.  UFO does not necessarily mean something from another planet.

The inter nation space station. trust me the first time i saw it it thought UFO until and experienced astronomer that was there at the moment told me other wise.
