What did Obama's speech on "RACE" say to you?

I really dont know why is was such a big deal... I didnt hear his speech but on the news people were saying that he really needed to deal with it.  Why?  Do the white candidates have to deal with race?  Why should he?  Just cause he is black.... get over it... we are all americans... we are all God's creation... that's all we need to know.

I believe he answered the problems at hand intelligenty, honestly and with great candor.  And I didn't even vote for him!  I'm beginning to believe he just might be the next president.
