What did Victoria Lindsay do so bad that she got beat up?

On the news I heard a 16 year old girl go beat up by teenage girls. I heard that they were beating her up because of some problem. Can someone tell me what the problem was?and why was the problem so bad that got her beat up?

According to news articles, Victoria Lindsay was beaten by 8 people. 2 guys being the lookout and 6 girls. They videotaped it w/intentions of putting it on youtube and myspace. They attacked her because the "trash talked" them over myspace. Her page is - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fus...

had something to do with trash talking on myspace and the trash talking on my space stemmed from, like always, a disagreement over some stupid boy.  He's probably thinking about how stupid girls are.

Apparently, she posted some bad things about them on myspace. So they retaliated.

The problem was because of something victoria must of said to one of the girls on myspace.

my social psychology teacher who's also a lawyer told me that victoria wrote on myspace about her boyfriend cheating on her with one of her friends.  that friend got angry and gathered a bunch of people to beat her up.  Victoria was right though.  it was true that the boyfriend was cheating on her with one of her friends.
