  1. theory of relativity, atom bomb

  2. He postulated the theory of relativity

  3. Albert Einsten discovered the law for energy, as shown by the theoretical equasion below;

    E=mc^2

    Energy = mass x speed of light ^ squared

  4. Maths and science subject wise.

    "Einstein's researches are, of course, well chronicled and his more important works include Special Theory of Relativity (1905), Relativity (English translations, 1920 and 1950), General Theory of Relativity (1916), Investigations on Theory of Brownian Movement (1926), and The Evolution of Physics (1938). Among his non-scientific works, About Zionism (1930), Why War? (1933), My Philosophy (1934), and Out of My Later Years (1950) are perhaps the most important."

    so yeah =]

  5. Yes...known for the Equation "E=MC[squared] only "C" is squared

    Energy equals Mass times the Speed of light [squared]

  6. albert einstein discovered theory of relativity

  7. He discovered the theory of relativity. (E=MC^2)

    He didn't invent it i suppose, it'd always been there...he just figured it out. And, if i could explain it i would...but i doubt most people could.

  8. His contributions are enormous in totality. Chiefly

    1. Discovering Photo-elctric effect for which he was awarded Nobel prize.

    2. Proposing Special theory of relativity

    3. Proposing General theory of relativity

    4. E = mc^2;

    this made atomic power (peaceful as well as weapons) possible

    5. His observation that photons (light rays) bend towards massive gravitational bodies. It is the 'Nucleus' or 'Germ' of the subsequent black-hole theories.

    His theories were not confined to laboratories on Earth but conceived in the larger setting of Universe as a whole and so have deep astronomical relevance and so, significant that way. His tackling of the failure of Michelson-Morley experiment that failed to establish 'Ether' is far more significant then all the laboratory work on the subject of light. Both Michelson & Morley were the best experimentors of their time.
