What did bar glasses look like back then?

Back then, not very many of them had fancy colored logos of the various beer brands on them like they do now.

They  used what was available at the time, they compromised

Pretty much like they LOOK now but servings have historically been smaller.  For example cocktail glasses generally were not the size of a small fish bowls back in the day.  Beer glasses haven't changed too much though.
