  1. in heterozygous condition the genotype of pea plant is Tt*Tt

    when crossing takes place one homozygous tall and two heterozygous tall and one homozygous dwarf are obtained

                    so 3 out of 4 are tall phenotypically and only one tall homozygous plant genetically.the genetic make up is called genotype.the physical appearance is called phenotype

  2. T = tall

    S = small  assuming the short gene is recessive

    The two parent plants would be TTXTT, TTXTS or TSXTS

    TTXTT = 4/4 Tall

    TTXTS =4/4 tall though some offspring would carry short gene that would not be noticable until they reproduced.

    This one is the HYBRID

    TSXTS= TT,TS,TS,SS = 3/4 tall, 1/4 short

  3. Tt x Tt

        T    t

    T TT Tt

    t  Tt   tt

    1 homozygous tall plant and 2 heterozygous tall plants
