What did princess Diana do to help the world/???????????????????...

Probably the most important was the campaign against land mines. She was very active in speaking out for a ban of land mines and was much appreciated by people in that movment, and the landmine victims she met, people who had their limbs blown off by walking in the wrong place. After her death,  Tony Blair came into office and agreed to ratify the international Ottawa convention on banning landmines and the convention came into force in 1999 but a number of major countries refused to sign, including USA, Russia and China.  However she did help to make a difference in some places on that..

I&#039;m not an unreserved fan of Diana&#039;s - She did some really stupid stuff, and I thought it was appalling the way she made her private life public (on top of what the paparazzi did), and yes she seemed frivolous in some ways.

But I can&#039;t know how I would have acted if I&#039;d been in her position. Even if you are raised in the nobility (well at least she did have a job before she got married to Charlie) that is nothing like being in the British Royal Family with all that scrutiny. I&#039;m glad i didn&#039;t have all the stupid **** I ever did all over the newspapers.  

Basically she was a human being with good and bad sides like all of us.

OK she was not my favourite person and everyone thought she was nutty whilst alive but she DID a little bit more that you.

Charity work and brought the plight of people destroyed by mines to the for front.

Diana, Princess of Wales became a expert manipulator of the press and used various charities and causes to promote her image.

In her own way, I do believe that she did help people and would have continued to do so if it was beneficial to her.
