My ex is engaged to someone else (the same guy she cheated on me with and consequently left me for). Long story short, we met to sign the papers and this is what she said:

Me: I guess this is goodbye.

Her: Maybe.

Me: What do you mean 'maybe?' We can never be together again.

Her: How do you know that? I've learned to never say never.

If she left you for another man, then I wouldn't put too much hope into what she meant. It sounds like if things don't work out with the new guy she might be willing to give you another try. But don't sit around waiting on someone to use you as a plan B.

Sounds like she is have pre wedding jitters, and wants to keep you on the back burner. Give her a call and tell her that if she thinks she's getting back together with you she's crazy. Naturally this is what you should have said when she tried to play you while the two of you were signing papers.

I don't know what to read into that either!  My girlfriend gave me a book to read .  she says is explains a lot about people, men and women, within relationships of all types.  it doesn't look like a book that would talk about those things, but she says it does.  to h**l with h**l on line barnes and noble dot com and amazon dot com.  i am going to read it.  hopefully, she knows what she is talking about.   good luck.
