What did the bridge (gondola) of the Hindenburg look like?

did it look similar to the one used in the rockeeter film.. with stairs going up into the enevelope

  1. It appeared very much as you imagine it: sparse and with everything possible done to reduce weight.  There was a steep ladder/stair going up into the keel, which is a framework with a walkway that runs the length of the hull.

    There are thousands of pictures and articles on the internet about the LZ-129 Hindenburg and many other airships.  For good startup reading, I recommend John Toland's _Ships in the Sky_.  you can buy a copy on line, or find it in any good library.  Also read the Encyclopedia Britannica article on "Airships."  You will find that in any library.
