  1. This morning my husband and I sat down to sort out some very complicated accounts which have been hanging over our heads for weeks.  We sorted it all out, then he went to the garden centre and I took my pedometer our for a walk along Upper Street, to the Angel, back down Essex Rd, back along all the antique shops, looking at all the lovely Londoners having fun in the sun, eating, flirting, shopping, gossiping.  When I got 10,000 paces, I jumped on a bus home where beloved had bought lemon cake, made me a cup of tea which we had outside with all the new plants

    Your day sounds wonderful

  2. In the garden....

    Cleaned up the garden furniture.

    Cleaned up the BBQ.

    Swept the patio.

    Put in some seeds.

And in between all these sat and drank cups of coffee and tea.

Delightfully sunny but not too hot to get things done!!

I returned a blouse to Matalan which didn't fit and since then have spent the whole day trying to tidy just one small corner of the tip we call a garden.

I am now bushwhacked and hoping somebody will pour me something (medicinal, of course) to revive me, before I start to cook an evening meal.
