What did you all think about the World Figure Skating Championship competition (for ladies)?

Personally, (aside from the scores given by the judges), I thought Yukari Nakano from Japan deserved the gold medal... I mean, she had a PERFECT flawless program and even landed the triple axel! Aside from that, I was extremely disappointed about Costner from Italy winning second place because I seriously do not know why her score is so high... She fell (and/or lost balance) in quite a few of her jumps... And she still gets second place? I seriously do not get it...

Since my favorite athelete did not make the podium (meissner( I'd have to agree with you. Apparently, a reporter fro Torinto think there were some "misjudging" involved.

I agree with you, Yukarie really deserved the gold, her programme was awesome! and I wish Miki Ando would finish the competition...

The competition was awesome! Especially the fall Mao Asada took in the beginning of her program. I can't believe she did all her jumps after that hard fall. I really wanted her or Yu-na Kim to win. Well, Yukari Nakano did skate a clean program but her 3axel was downgraded and I don't think she would have gotten enough points to win the gold. I also think that Carolina Kostner is getting to many points from the judges. She should have been 3rd or 4th after the short program. Overall she should have also been 3rd or 4th. Any way, I really enjoyed watching the competition!!!!

I didn't watch it, but the reason why she got second may have been because she had high level spins and footwork than the other competitors.
