  1. Gosh, it was so long ago for both.  It was mainly family and a few friends that had kids the same age.  We had food and cake and ice cream.  Made a big ta do about them.  Video recorded and took tons of pictures.  So much fun.  Make sure he has his own little cake to completely make a mess of and get really sticky and messy and even cuter!

  2. We Had A Family Get Together At Our House With Relatives And Ate cake and Ice cream And Opened Presents And Let Her Play with all Her New Toys.We Will More Then Likely Do About The Same Thing For Our second Little Ones birthday when the Time comes Maybe Also Have dinner and Not Just cake and Ice cream this Time Though.

  3. I went all out and had a nursery rhyme themed party.  It took ages to plan and cost a fortune.  I wanted it to be the best 1st birthday party ever, . . . sad thing is that none of his 1 yr old friends appreciated it and none of them will remember it.

Oh well .  at least the photo's will look good in his baby record book

  4. family and freinds parrty and day after we went out of town for a wwek

  5. I just met up with a couple of friends at the local playground that has a waterpark, I supplied the swim diapers and we just let the little ons splash and play. much other organized activities was asking trouble. plus, outdoors makes for some really cute pictures. I got my daughter her own mini-cake....walmart gives you one free for the first birdthday when you buy a 1/4 sheet or bigger cake. she was classic face in cake and everything it was perfect.

  6. My son's birthday is Oct 29 so we did a Halloween themed party. We invited all the friends and family. Also something cool we did was make little cards for him so that people could write special messages on them. They have a picture of him and the guest on the front of the card. He gets to open them when he's 18.
