Where are some great places for a girl turning 14 that aren't to expensive? She's turning 14, but acts like she's turning 16. She wants a party for a good amount of her friends but she doesn't want it to seem loserish and it can't be boring.

What are some really good ideas for a birthday party that aren't to expensive but really entertaining. She wants it to be fun and she likes the attention on her. She's kinda crazy, haha. I'm wondering what you girls did for you birthdays that you thought were really fun so we can get a good idea about hers.

  1. i went to chuckie cheeses in ohio

    its really good and fun

    i had a blast..hehe... get it.. blast

  2. lol i remember when i was like that. my 15th birthday was last april but it turned out that my birthday was on my band trip, so i was in washington dc with my friends and [the school band] on my birthday. it was pretty cool, but the thing i remember most was medieval times. it is like a play type thing where you eat rennaissance food, and watch them act out and battle knights ect. its really fun...even for a 15 year old. im not sure how much it costs to get in because it was included in our trip, but it is really worth looking to. she can bring a few friends along and maybe go to the mall or something before hand, and you can have a cake or whatever afterward. but trust me i loved it im sure she will too!

  3. Pay to use a gym at a church and have a dance!  Make like a snack bar, maybe hire a DJ if that's an option, get a cute cake!

  4. Honesty, for my 14th party, I had it at my house. It was so awesome, since I could invite as many people as I wanted. We stayed in my basement most of the time, and played DDR and just goofed off. And heres something you can do at home (as long as its okay with your parents), that you cant do anywhere else...you can have a cake fight! We did, and it was amazing!

For my 15th birthday, I really just asked my mom if I could take my two best friends shopping at a really great mall about an hour away from my house. It wasn't anything big, but I still had a lot of fun!

  5. I have the classic party at home!

A lot of balloons, food, etc.

If she's not into that, give her a lot of money so her and her friends can go shopping for her presents and stuff~

It really varies from girl to girl on how to spend their special day.

  6. get a dj look in yelllow pages and see where she lives and call and see the cheapest and her parents are gonna have to leave the house or else it would sorta be loserish NO OFFENSE :)

  7. Want it to be the BEST and the MOST FUN, but not expensive? well that's not possible!

  8. I just invited about five of my closest friends to the movies then after we had a sleepover. I'm not into throwing parties. I had different friends who didn't all know each other and I really didn't wanna play host on my own birthday.

It was really fun. We got to watch a movie in the afternoon, then after we just chilled at my house. Finally came the sleep over where we mostly talked, ate, and watched dvd's.

  9. Last year when I turned sixteen I went to the beach with a small group of my friends. Then we went out to dinner & had cake & stuff. We had a blast! I don't know if you would be able to do that, but it sure was fun!

  10. I went to Hershey Park with 3 of my friends...that was 19 yrs ago, that might be too expensive to be considered a gift now. Take her to a movie and then a window shooping spree at the mall....even if you can't buy anything you'll be having fun with her, as for a party, find out what she loves to do and base the party on that. My friend was a movie buff, so for her 15th, her parents threw a party where everyone dressed as a character from her favorite movie...she loved it!

  11. For my 14th my friend said to me 'hey do you want to watch a movie', and I was like yeah sure do you want me to pick you up at 3? and she said yes.

So i went over to her house to pick her up and her mum said Ayeisha is at the back. So i went into their games room and 12 of my friends jumped out from behind the furniture and said "SUPRISE" - it was soooo fun.
