I'm looking for theme ideas. My daughter isn't really into anything yet. I already did Baby Einstein for my son. I don't want to do a princess party, I'm sure she'll want one when she's older. Any ideas? Thanks!

  1. I had a cake made in the shape of a lamb and invited the family over.  At that age, the child has no idea who the party is for.  Make it simple and take some cute pictures, so she'll be able to enjoy them later.

  2. We did a ducky theme. She was really into ducks. It came out super cute. I ordered little plush duckies online and put them in the goody bags with bubbles.

Her cake was a sheet cake decorated to look like bath tub with two rubber ducks bath toys on it. A baby and a mama.

  3. We just had the whole family over for a small party

  4. I did a dora theme for my daughter only because she showed interest in dora she had lots of dora toys when she was 1 she's 3 now and she still loves dora LOL or you can do like a strawberry shortcake theme.

  5. my daughter is only 5 months. but you could do strawberry shortcake. or the simple babys first birthday theme. go to a party supply store and they will have all different ideas for babys

  6. I did Minnie Mouse for my daughters first birthday :)

  7. Well since we figure she's not going to remember, we're not doing a theme or anything big, she's getting a cake and presents but that's about it.

We don't have money to waste on such trivial things as a themed party.

  8. what about barny or hi five  depends on where u are also alos pooh bear or barbie

hope these help theres some ideas

  9. if you want something different, do colors, animals or something that isn't cartooned themed.

i did butterflies. the party favors were $1 butterfly nets and we had the party at the park.

you can do fish. like auquatic themes.the party stores have cut outs of anything you would want. and  you can get the plates, napkins & cups in a main color that goes with whatever you choose. ((straight blue, pink, or purple, whatever)

you can also do daisy's or sunflowers. giv eout the cheap lays as party favors (the hawiian things)

i always wanted something different for my daughter too. she didn't watch alot of tv, so a theme wasn't an option. princess stuff like that is too common.
