  23. Waiting for my college to start, while everyone else has already gone to college, I have managed to finish:

    1. Leaves of Grass: Death-Bed Edition by Walt Whitman

When he says "Death-Bed," he REALLY means it.

    2. The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks

I've grown tired of Nicholas Sparks and romance novels in general over the years.

    3. A Freewheelin' Time by Suze Rotolo

I was. Born. In the wrong. Era. Why?

    8. Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

I'm not the biggest Austen fan ever, but I did enjoy the novel, though the chapters tended to be longer (I hate stopping in the middle of chapters, so I prefer shorter ones).

    9. The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury

Wow. That was just mind-blowing and amazing.

    10. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt

    11. Neuromancer by William Gibson

      Umm...it's very...physical...*ahem* awkward.

    12. The Awakening by Kate Chopin

The character of Edna irritated me to an extent, but I absolutely LOVED this book. It kept my interest, I thought the writing was pretty good, and it was really amazing to think about how this bit of literature was shunned and criticized to shreds, but later aided in the feminist movements.

And currently I am working on On the Road by Jack Kerouac, which I started Saturday night.
