  1. I'm still in school, and I got a 2060. Hoping that'll get me in where I want, but who knows?

  2. Keeping in mind this was the old SAT....  I scored a 1380 (which at the time was just math and verbal), but I also took the SAT-II Writing and scored a 740...so if I understand the new scoring system, that's a 2120.

  3. I agree with the first person, I do not think that the SAT, or any standardized test, is the best way to determine someone's ability to succeed in college.

anyway, to actually answer the question, I got a 1910

  4. SAT- 2070 with 12/12 on Writing

    ACT- 32

    Standardized tests are lame.

  5. When I was in 8th grade for CTY, I got a 1570. How the heck do you get a 2000 in 8th grade? I'm going into 9th.

  6. First off, SAT are absolute c**p. They do not reflect your intelligence but how well you take THAT particular test. I scored an 1830 with a perfect essay score, however when I took the ACT I got a 32. Obviously, I ended up sending in my ACT scores to colleges instead. Turns out, I got into a top tier liberal arts college. And thank goodness I never have to take the SAT's again.

  7. I got a 1260 out of 2400 (first try!!!), but gunna take again before winter strikes and have to send my FAFSA and Applications to my colleges!!!!

and I admire all those people who got at least 1900 and above or 2000 above I was I trade their scores for mine lol heheh ^_^ sorry the SAT 1 is a pain, and I bet the SAT II Subject test is pain in the a**

  8. I'm with the other posters. All you have to do to get a great score is learn how the test makers think, which is pretty easy with enough practice. It's not a measure of intelligence. There are too many smart people I know with mediocre or slightly above average scores. That said, I got a 2290 in June. The thing is, I don't think I'm anywhere near as smart as the percentile that goes with that score suggests, and it definitely doesn't take into account my below average intellect for common sense. ;-) Recommendations, transcripts, and essays are so much more accurate. I'm with Wake Forest and Tufts on abolishing these things... even if my own score will help me.

  9. My parents made me take the SATs when I was in 8th grade for CTY and I got a 2000.

I took the PSATs as a sophomore and got a 228, but I didn't study.

I don't think SATs reflect intelligence and anyone who tries hard enough can get close to a full score.
