What did you spend you tax rebate on, or do you plan to spend it on?

I am planning on using mine for the completion of my wedding plans.

My fiance got some bills caught up and out of the way.

Just curious what everyone else is doing. = )

To pay taxes!  They send it to me I send it back.  The only thing that gets stimulated is the post office.

Although I paid $41,000 in Federal Income tax last year, that amount meant that although my tax dollars are good enough to repay the debt for the rebate, it wasnt good enough to receive a tax rebate.

I'm going to use mine to buy gas and pay for the increase in my utilities.  Hey, CONGRATS on your wedding!

DVD's and video games, mostly.  I thought about saving it or spending it on something worthwhile, but I thought giving in to impulse shopping would be a more patriotic use.  Gotta stimulate that economy!

I spent my $14.60 rebate (yeah, that's all it was) on an order of boneless wings and a tall Newcastle Brown Ale at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Tax rebate??? Hmmm don't think they send them to those of us that actually pay taxes. It's been 12 weeks since I filed mine, no notice, no payment, no nothing. Took them 3 days to cash the check I sent with it. Think it would be far more stimulating to the economy to do away with giving the tax money that I pay to those who never and will never pay a cent in taxes and still get back thousands of dollars every year with the Earned Income Credit. That's just one tax rule I will never understand.

my rents just used it to pay some bills

and buy me and my brother new clothes and take us shopping for stuff
