What did you think about Azmeel on Friday?
I thought he looked quite good in the Dee Stakes

    He won despite the race not going for him. He got held up when Prompter ran into problems and that didn’t help Azmeel’s cause because he changed his lead leg.

    Instead of leading on his near-fore he switched to his off-fore so he was effectively trying to gallop against the contours of the course.

    Then he was stuck behind horses and had to go for a gap to win. Only won by a half-length but value for more. The form looks good and he ties in with Godolphin’s Chabal, who beat him two-and-a-quarter lengths in the Classic Trial at Sandown a couple of weeks ago
