  1. Don't care. he got what he wanted. Money, publicity, and loyal a*skissers. He won't last in new york.

  2. He deserves what he gets. If he loved the game he shouldn't have retired until the league made him. This isn't the first time he announced retirement.

  3. Unsatisfying finish to all this build-up. I would have liked to see Favre trot out onto Lambeau the first game of this season in a Vikings uniform.

  4. It's poetic in a sense that he is continuing his playing career in New York. He got a nice warm-up as far as handling a media circus and by playing in New York, he'll be more scrutinized than ever.

  5. I'm not a fan of the Packers or the Jets, but I think this trade is a mistake by Brett. He has such a strong identity as a Packer, he should have either called it good and taken the $20 million to sit at home and keep his mouth shut, or he shouldn't have retired in the first place. Now he will have p ssed off a lot of fans that used to love him, and it will weaken his legacy whenever he retires for real. I think a great athlete is greater if he sticks with one team to the end. When you think Michael Jordan, what team do you think of? Bulls, even though he didn't end with them. It would have been classier of him to stay retired and leave his legacy with the team that he built it with.

  6. It only becomes official when Favre agrees to the trade he has a clause in his contract where he can decline a trade

  7. happy
