  1. More of the same tired liberal rhetoric.

  2. I saw about ten minutes of it at work (at the hated day job).

Okay, he's a good public speaker, I give him credit for that. Everyone in the lunch room thought he was the Second Coming of Christ and cheered his every line.

I was pretty dubious myself because he promised so many things, any one of which would bust the economy, if it weren't busted already.

  3. Same liberal rhetoric.  I'm going to deliver all this stuff for you but I will give you no specifics on how we will accomplish it.  A lot of spin speech-e.g. I won't raise taxes for 95% of you but the other 5%, watch out.  SO who is the top 5% of income earners in America?  Probably people who make >%80K/yr.  I know the top 1% is around >$100K/yr. These people I wouldn't consider the rich.

In 10 years, I'm going to get the US off of its dependence of foreign oil. Well, that's nice but your term is for only 4 years, 8 at best.

  4. He has better ideas than McCain, who's all about spending, taxes, and oil. And I mean raising it, and raising the price.

  5. just like a politician...did anyone notice how conservative

some of the things he said were?

haha trying to pull people in

he still hasnt clarified what 'change' he is going to bring, if any good change

all yall people seem to think that once obama goes into

office everything is going to be peachy keen and nothing will be bad.

hes a celebrity, he just soaked up all of the applause and chanting. i believe he will do our country more harm than good.

lets see if he does get elected, if he can even really do 1% of the **** hes promised

  6. He owned it!

    (like always)

He is a great speech giver, and it is going to be so funny when him and Mccain debate.

He is going to own (in my opinon)

  7. Complete turn off

  8. Very good, refreshing.

  9. It was amazing.  He's a great speaker.  I just hope he carries out the things he says and it's not all talk like Bush was and every other politician in the past.

  10. It made me yawn

I just looked at some parts, i could guess the rest

  11. It was a mediocre speech punctuated by a few high points.  Portions of it were very mechanical; it didn't deviate much from the type of rhetoric we've heard from Obama over the past few months.  It went downhill when he started attacking McCain by using half-truths to do so.  I learned something about Obama, though: he can look straight into the camera and lie ("I will lower your taxes").

  12. Same old Dem BS.  No change.

  13. I didn't hear anything we haven't heard in most political speeches over the past 50 years.
