  1. Nobody cares about soccer, it is a worthless flopping sissy game in which two year olds can play.

  2. When I look at your photo... nothing else matters

  3. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA  we lost ...sniff sniff snif

  4. i felt embarrased for greece, that i just stopped watching.

they had at least 3 good chances to equal the score, but just messed up.

i agree though, i think 2004 was just luck.

maybe we'll prove ourselves to the world another day.

  5. sto Euro 2004 eixame xasei kai sta duo match mazi tous an 8imame kala!!!! and now again??

Pou einai o karagounissssssssss?? I wanna talk to him right now!!!!! :@

  6. To Rehagel mou... LOL!  Seriously now , it was a good game.  We lost but what can you do?  Next time! It was not embarrassing to me and I hope they feel the same (well,  hardly!) I hate competitions.  I feel for the losers all the time. And better lose decently than win dishonestly.

  7. Greece was never the first football team(like England who didn't qualified)

I am sad also that we had bad results but I dont want to be greedy,2004 is still a dream and I am thankfull of their victory back then

Some neighbours ,are still answering in order to spread their poison allover.

I really pity him because the inferiority complex has cause him much of problems..

Dear complex neighbour,at least Greek is in Euro and at least Greece has a Euro-cup in its history...hurts you right????

    heheheh

  8. it was a great match ,i was supporting greece ,but ok there is no problem , please greeks : don't get upset it is just a game and in every euro there is some surprises , this is what makes the game interesting .

  9. did you really think we were gonna win again??...we got lucky in 2004, no doubt about that...and this year, we were just outplayed, Greece was the weakest team in the grouping, so its no surprise they are already eliminated

btw...sweden is a good team and russia is no slouch either

  10. I'm so happy about Russia's win! Actually I'm very happy because I win a bet, I put money  that Greece will lose without scoring a goal!!! And most of all I'm very glad that greece lost, because they made football so boring, they are anti-football team! and yes, as you said "This is an embarrasing act", but I wonder how you gonna feel after the third match and after the third lost game without even one goal scored??? I know that I'll be very happy!

  11. where is god? lol seriously?...1st we lose the eurovision now these is what i get???? this is torture... argh i hate soccer now....i don't think russia will win though.

  12. I'm from Russia, so I'm glad we won, it was a pretty good game.

  13. i had high hopes for greece since they were spectacular in qualifying but got VERY worried when they lost all 3 friendly matches (to very poor quality teams) just before the start of the euros.

the sweden match was a complete embarassement. we had no offense whatsoever. passing the ball back and forth between the defenders made me furious. and any attempt at a pass was over 30 yards and completely off target.

the russia match was a bit better, but charisteas screwed up the only two real offensive chances and that brain surgeon of a goalkeeper (nikopolidis) did another one of his blakeies.

they really needed someone to bring the ball up and pass it around...so i have no idea why rehagel didnt put in stelios giannakopoulos...he seems to be the only one who can dribble and pass the ball beyond the halfway marker. have him in there, along with karagounis (who can take some powerful shots) and charisteas as a big man upfront, wouldve been a much better move.  did amanatidis even touch the ball yesterday?!?!?!?

'espn deportes' showed a replay yesterday of the 2004 final and greece was SOOO much better organised back then.

in 2004 we had great defense and a little bit of offense that got lucky one or two times at the perfect moment. in 2008, we had a weaker defense (granted, dellas and kyriagos did play very well in both games) and no offense whatsoever.

regardless, its over. we'll still always have 2004 and all the joy it brought to us (i remember celebrating in astoria like it was yesterday).

heres looking forward to world cup 2012...if we qualify.  :-)

PS; apologies for the rant   hehehe
