Question:

What did you think about the Math B regents?

The multiple choice was extremely simple, as were the part twos. Once I hit part three, it got a little bit more tough.

I think with the curve and the amount of work that I showed, I should score in the low 90's.

  1. I thought it was pretty easy except for the question about the standard deviation and the boxes. What did you guys get? For the street question I set up a proportion and I think I got 8 miles or something like that.

  2. The street one I did guess and check (I got it on the first try lol) but I later found out that you could set up a proportion with the big triangle and one the little ones. I stared at that one for a good ten minutes, but I got 8 as my answer. I thought the rest was pretty easy.

  3. the answer was 115 animal crackers.. thats wat i got.. and the part I with the circle, the answer was teh one with the congruent chords... congruent arcs form congruent cords.. if coul not have been interior angles b/c the lines werent parallel

  4. it was ok i just made a ton of simple errors so im an idiot

  5. I was completely lost on anything that had to do with sin squared or 2sin theta whatever...I never understood that stuff. Otherwise, it was okay (besides the last part4, with the forces and resultants...I never learned that :X )

  6. I breezed through the part ones and twos thinking that it was the easiest math B exam i'd ever taken in my life, until part 3 came along. The triangle with the street signs had to do with using the "mean proportional" (i just looked it up, i think i got it completely wrong). It just seems unfair because I learned about that stuff beginning of last year, so I figured it was math A material. The log problem caught me off guard too. And there are little errors i keep realizing. I know I didn't s***w myself over completely, but without there being a 6 point proof I thought I could do better.

  7. yea i got 115 for the animal crackers thing for standard deviation........i got the probability one..but i think i put the wrong ans:O..i hope i didnt make any stupid mistakes on the 6-pointer questions...the log one..i got x=4..and the tree mile question about sum roads or sumthing i got 6 miles..i wz gnna put 8 but i dunno i got 6 cuz i got 8.sumthing..nd they didnt ask for an approximate or anything which meant that the answer had to be an exact number..which i got 6...and Niki i think ur right if itz decimal..it could b 85% or .85 but not .85%

  8. Part 1 was easy  PArt 1 was ok part 3 and  4 wa shard..

the log on the 6 pointer was so hard!

also i got lost on # 29 with the  ccos2+2sinbeta1

    I founded # 31 hard too, about t (x+4)^2+(Y-2)=81..

and that street i was lost and did pythargron theroem. which i know was wrong.

i think i passed, but i  think i failed too!!

But  the log i just gave up

  9. Oh my God.  Part 1 was so easy.  But then it got harder.

That stupid proof one i had no idea how to do, and then the Street Triangle one...WTF?!?!

Ugh i think i did really bad

  10. im thinkin about a 18/20 on the multiple choice. the question about which is a function, i put x2 + y2 = 16

and the circle diagram with the congruent arcs i said the alt. interior angles were congruent

  11. The MC's were so easy and I got them all right.  The Part twos were pretty easy-i think I got all but one.  The part three was pretty hard and part four was ok.  I didn't know how to do the problem with the four roads.

  12. omg the proof was impossible! and the ****** maple street one ..i like made up the angles measurements to solve it but then someone was said it  was a proportion. part one was easy thought. good thing its like a 22 point curve!

  13. i actually thaught it was difficult

for the street ones i did guess and check lol. and i got 10. and i was so happy that i got it, until i found out later on that that was wrong, and the real answer is 8. =\

i did alot of stupid mistakes , and i hope i passed.

i dont really care what i get, as long as i pass.

  14. the proof was easy i knew how to do it but like.. the variables confused me i guess idk really -_- it sucks cause i knew how to do it. yeah the maple syrup or w,e i dern rly know -.- i hope they give me decent partial cred. and wth ? 20 points curve?? It's only a 10-15 point curve. Lol. Only math A is 20 pts curve

  15. i thought part 1 was easy. i got through them relatively quickly. part 2 was ok. part 3 was where it got hard. the street one i didnt do a proportion but i ended up getting 8 anyway. hopefully ill get most of the credit. the cosA+sinA+ whatever it was like that, number 29. i tried so many things and couldnt get it to work. and the circle problem with the dilation of 2 was tricky. part 4 was actually easy for me i was surprised thats where i usually loose points. overall it wasnt that bad.

  16. it was somewhat easy. for the street triangle one it didn't say whether to round or not so i rounded to the tenths place and put 8.5, do you think they will give me credit???

  17. how did you guys get the answer to the animal cracker box question? can someone please help? and also for the probability everyone got 85....but i got .85 help!

  18. i thouhgt the entire test was tough.

the part ones weren't that bad.

afte rthat i started freaking out.

the street triangle was a tough i was confused. so with the proof. proofs are not good with me.

the log oneee on the 6 pointer was hard..

the force one was confusing at first but then i used the law of sines and cosines so i tihnk i got at leat 4/6 points on that one.

i probably thought it was hard because math is not my best subject.!

    i think i passed with a 65 at least.

  19. Yeah definitely thought Part I was easy, as was Part II. Didn't really get the street question, to me there wasn't enough information for me to figure it out.  There were 2 other ones that I wasn't really sure on either. Other than that though I'm thinking I did pretty good.

  20. I thought it was pretty easy overall. There were a couple of multiple choice ones I didn't know, but the rest of it was simple. I don't see why so many people found the part three and part four ones hard. They just took a little more work to do, but they weren't hard.

  21. Part 1 was a breeze, however the proof was retarded. Out of all the proofs I have practices, I have never seen one like that. I also found the logarithmic equation hard, which I just scribble scrabbled and also on the trigonometric equation. Did anyone else also get 300 for the assembling question? That is the problem where they tell you how many of the things will be 11% or higher (or something like that). Overall, I would be happy if I get a 65 or higher.

  22. Trig Equation question:

Did we have to put 90.00 degrees

I put 90 degrees By accident! along with the other two answers which i did round=./

NIKI(Regarding prabability question) your RIGHT so chill=D but they may take points off since you rounded=/

REGARDING THE TREE QUESTION: the answer is 8 not 8.5. You will receive no credit if your work is incoherant!...=/ hopefully it isnt

  23. part 1 = easy

    part 2 = easy

part 3 = started to panic

part 4 = wanted to cry
