It's amazing that we the taxpayers paid 16.1 million for the democratic and 16.1 million for the republican party convention. Ron Paul had as many if not more people attend his rally and spent $0.0 taxpayer dollars.

  1. I thought it was very ambient, and very educational. The people who showed up speaking did not mention the word "Change", or "we can win!". These people straight out told the truth, and the problems this country faces. And I thought it was a better mini convention the DNC and RNC put together. The DNC and RNC only had music, screaming, and "change" or "we can win" blah blah. Ron Paul's rally was very educational, rather than about entertainment. I thought it was very philosophical, and very pro- American. Thanks for the post.

  2. And his 35 million raised from small donors could have been doubled by federal finance laws, but he refused to run his campaign on 'stolen money'.  And he never ran debt and still has more than $3 million left.

But he is a conservative, not a hypocrite.

Check out his entrance to the Rally:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfnD1Y-gL...

  3. I attended the Revolution March, but unfortunately am too ill to attend the Rally for the Republic. I am very depressed that I couldn't go. But at least 8-12 of my friends are there supporting Dr. Paul and trying to save our Constitution. They are protesting peacefully and have been fine so far, but many many others have not been so lucky. There have been many reports in the first 2 days of the RNC of people being illegally detained, arrested and other injustices.

But to tell you about the Revolution March, it was amazing to be with 20,000-25,000 of my closest friends. The feeling of being around others who care about this country, each other, and especially respecting the Constitution, was a very powerful thing. I wept during the speeches because I felt so unified. Not the fake Obama unity, but true, patriotic unity. Dissent is truly patriotic.
