What did you think about the movie, The Other Boleyn Girl?

And do you know of similar movies? I thought it was a great plot that truly exposed the consequences of greed and the thirst for power.

I thought it was a great film. I'm a huge fan of Natalie Portman and she didn't disappoint in this one. Eric Bana was great as well. I felt that Scarlett Johansson, while a great actress, was really over-shadowed in this film and wasn't used to her full potential.

Personally I was nervous and anxious at the same time. Because Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson are my 2 fav. actresses of all time and they are in a movie together. Seems too good to be true and when I watched it i was very pleased and I own the special edition. I loved it so much. Eric Bana is amazing in it as well. I expected a few of the stuff to happen even though I hoped different things had happened but didn't...I hate to see Natalie cry she is an amazing cry-er. LOL...they did wonderfully together. and I am glad that Natalie played the older sister Anne...she is infact older than scarlett and some think she looks younger cause she is little but scarlett is short too but i am glad scarlett played mary and natalie played anne. it was great!!  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0467200/

I LOVED it.  I love period movies.  Try "Girl with a Pearl Earring", "Mad Love" (not with Drew Barrymore but the foreign film) AKA Juana La Loca.  It's the story of the queen of spain who lost her mind over love.  The best quote of the movie is (something like) "I love him so that in my grave if I heard him whisper my name I would claw my way back to him".  That's not an exact quote but it's the jist.  GREAT movie.

They are both WONDERFUL movies.  They are as poinient as this.

it was good, but not as good as the book. I actually like Anne Boleyn, so I hate to see her get murdered even though I know it's going to happen it still ruins it for me. I wish someone would make a movie where history is changed and she actually lives lol.
