What did you think of Arod getting tagged out at second base?

Hmm chances are he would've, it seemed he took that one a little easier then usual.

The throw to second was perfect. Arod should have tried for second like he did the fielder made the perfect throw.

Oh my god, that was just too painful for me to watch... The top of the ninth inning and the Yanks are down 2-1, with A-Rod hitting a ball that should of been a double but getting tagged out.  And yes, I did notice that he took a little while to get out of the batters' box.  I think if he hurried out he would of made it.  The Yankees needed that double to get a run and tie the game.  And it definitely wasn't a single.  If he had stayed at first, everyone would be wondering and pissed because he didn't go to second.  Anyone would of gone to second.  It's just that he didn't hurry out quick enough, and because of it, he was out.

Well as a Jays fan I found it Hilarious to see Overbay get what should have been an outfield assist. I was worried watching him get ready to throw that but i was just happy he nailed g*y-Rod

I think it's time for Joe Giradi to go Billy Martin on him and suspend him for five games.  God knows the Yankees aren't hitting WITH his bat in the lineup, that 15-6 game on Sunday being a rare exception.

He is a ******* Idiot because he barley ran out of the box and when he reached 1st base Lyle Overbay all ready had the ball and he did not he sprint as fast as he can. If he did run as fast as he can from the beginning he would of been safe

I watched that play and I got so mad at ARod because he should have been busting out of the box the entire way, he should have been into second with a double, but, I don't think it mattered because Giambi struck out..... again. He should have been safe, I don't like it when players just take there time to get to base they should be busting it out the entire way even if it is a single right into the outfield.

I really just think Aroid hasn't been getting the point lately, if you know what I mean. If he got the point he would've made it standing up. A bit sluggish he has been, where else can we place the blame? hmmm?

First - he was lucky to get any wood on the ball at all.  Madonna likely gets more woodie from him.  Second - 1/2 effort = 1 out.  You got it, he didn't hustle.
