What did you think of BEIJING's closing ceremony?

I thought it was truly amazing, as was the opening ceremony.  The Chinese went all out and spent billions of dollars, so most other host cities will never be able to match what we saw in Beijing.

They had British superstars of different types because the next Olympics is in London.  It was all symbolic of passing the torch to the British.

I was not impressed with the british part. it doesnt show me british culture too much, rather, just life in a typical large city.

I thought it was a bit overdone. But that is part of Chinese culture:  they love their dramatic arts and fireworks and light and loud music.

Yeah it was pretty ill. I liked the usage of a lot of people simultaneously moving like in the opening.

The Game was formally closed but it brought a new beginning on many things, which were mainly concerning the Human Right.

From the very beginning, western media started the impact on human right in China and U.S. still thought that this Olympic Game was not open enough.

If you look at the Chinese history, it was the first time of China to welcome so many visit at a time.

From the very beginning, back to Chris Pattern, human right was used as a political tool for overthrow the existing Chinese government.

This Olympic Game actually gave a chance to those people to make correction. Human Right is a social and cultural issue. They should base on cultural exchange.

The Game provided a very good platform for humanists. They use it. "One World; one dream" means the harmony of co-existence. Let that dream be real. Just like Martin Luther Kings' dream, it was and is still a dream.

Anyway, the closing was good and it would serve as a new beginning of new era in human right of China.
