i just finished the book. and i think that it is SO dissapointing. the baby thing was too much to handle..and it made the book so ...disturbing. and there was no lovey dovey stuff that the series is known about. i swear it wasj ust lust and s*x all over the place. jacob's perspective was pretty much awsome..just cause i'm team jacob..and when he imprinted on renesmee i was extremely happy. but for some reason i picture her as like a kid from the omen. i read it all in one day..and just when i was fed up with sacrificing my day...it finally got better when the volturi came in. BUT, even though there was so much time spent preparing on the fight...and i finally got excited about it....there was nothing. they just...TALKED. like what the h**l???? the highlight of the book was the last page..where he finally read her thoughts..i thought that was awsome. worst part: i imagined bella being changed back in the meadow with edward alone with her in this sweet romantic way.

i guess i'm still a die-hard fan...but this isn't what i expected at all.

what did all of you guys think????

  1. I still don't even know what to think, I went back and forth from loving it to hating it. I mean im really glad about what happened with jacob, how thats all tied up, but how edward and bella are married and parents kinda take away from the whole forbidden love thing, thats some of the appeal of these books. and we spent a good portion of the book hating nessie, and then suddenly we are supposed to love her just as much as edward. We didnt really get time to know her. And then when bella is turned into a vampire, she just isnt really bella anymore. she could almost be another different character completly! In breaking dawn everything was just so different, it could almost be a different book, especially in book 3. Im not really getting mad at stephenie meyer, because i enjoyed the book, but that was just some of the thoughts i had.

  2. I thought Breaking Dawn was frickin amazing. Definately my favorite book by far. When I first started reading it, I thought holy c**p are you kidding me? Like this seriously sucks. And I thought i was going to absolutely hate the book.

I was so happy that Stephenie Meyer had Jacob imprint on Renesmee! It was so smart! Cause Jacob still has a part of Bella in her. Her eyes and cheeks.. Ahh! It made me so happy.

The ending was the besttt.. and i definately loved Bella's power! Amazing.

  3. I loved it. Especially that Charlie gets to keep seeing her.

  4. I loved Breaking Dawn! It was how is was meant to be. I was glad they had a child. They had so much love from the begining that to have "Forever" with not just each other but their child they created out of that love was great. I thought the Volturi part was realistic too because Bella had some power that they could not go up against. They were too late to stop the family, think about it! If they were going to fight they should have come back before Bella was turned because they knew should would have alot of power because they couldn't get to her with their powers when she was just human. How pissed would we have all been if they had done that?! Did you really think that as a vampire, as finally Edwards forever, and now as a mother they thought they had a chance of defeating the "Family." I think Stephanie Meyer did a excellent job of giving us what was always meant to be. I don' t think it was just s*x and lust either. I mean they didn't have to be careful at all it was just finally intense they could completely give thereselves they way they wanted without holding back. I loved it and feel we got the ending Edward, Bella, and Jacob deserved and no one had to die! I even liked that Rosalie protected  Bella while she was pregnant when Edward was afraid that she was going to die. I think some people will think that he checked out but I felt bad for him because he didn't know like Bella did that their child would not be a bad thing. I just loved this ending!!! I too read it all straight through.

  5. I dont know why everybody is so disappointed in it i personally loved it. The reason theres so much s*x and lust is because Edward and Bella love each other, and i remember a few months back thats what all the fans wanted. If they would have fought with the Volturi people would have died and im sure Stephenie Meyer did not want that. I think she ties up all she had in the book and even Jacob got somebody but who he gets i think is extremely funny, especially when Bella chases him down.  So all in all I thoguht it was amazing and i think i like it better and the other books before it.

EDIT: the only reason it was "lovey dovey" as you call it in the other books is because bella wasnt a vampire so Edward had to be careful with her when she is a vampire they dont have to the be careful

  6. OMG you are sooo right!  I was reading through it and I could barely concentrate, it was so boring!  And yeah, no good action with the Volturi and I WANT ROMANTIC EDWARD BACK!
