What did you think of Curlin today?

I listened to the race and I think he was awsome!!

Horse racing is great for everyone except the horse...Curlin is a wonderful animal. Two and Three year old horses are not build to thunder down a track. The damage they do to their legs is terrible. But there is money in it and people watch it so there is a market. Retired race horse's - except for the 'Best' usually are put down because they are broken down due to the damage to their legs. The 'best' are hit with an electrical shock two three times a day to extract their sperm for breeding. Great retirement, eh? You have the internet research the 'sport'. I grew up on the track and I have watched a lot of horses put down because they were young and snapped leg bones running too hard. Good thing you guys don't like horses...it would ruin the sport for you...

He is truly the best horse in the world. To win the Dubai World Cup by 7 3/4 lengths is astonishing! I liked him from the very start. Although he may have lost a couple of times, he never let that get to him. He was truly the best horse today.

Wow.  He won just as easily as he did in the Jaguar Cup last month.  He didn't even look like he was trying.  It was his race from the start.  He knew just what to do, he sat nicely to the outside and waited for the stretch then ran forward past the leaders for an easy 7 length win.  No one else ever had a chance.  I think we're at the start of a huge Curlin winning streak because I honestly can't see any horse capable of beating him.  Curlin will pass Cigar in earnings this year.

AWESOME!!!!!............He's some "monster" (and I mean that in the nicest way)............He's big, he's beautiful, he's so well formed and has the heart of a champion..........He WANTS to run and it truly shows..........I wish Invasor wouldn't have gotten hurt and been retired because I would have loved to see them go against each other...........Invasor had the will to win and refused to be beat and I think Curlin has those same qualities..........Right now there isn't a horse that can come near him............What he's accomplished in less than a year is unsurpassed..........He earned "Horse of the Year" and I can't wait to see what's in store for him next........I'm so glad his owner didn't opt to retire him to stud (as so many do for the large amount of money stud fees bring in) and let him go on as a 4 year old..........He's matured so nicely...........WTG Curlin...........
