  1. WTG Stinky..you said it all, I have nothing to add, GREAT ANSWER!

  2. by pushing the car of tomorrow up they forgot about the tires..

  3. I hope its another nail in the coffin of the COT. If there truly is a God we will see factory body cars again next year, and never another C.O.T.

  4. Lip service. They knew Indy ate tires. Goodyear failed to test sufficiently, AT INDY, to overcome the problem. NASCAR knew. Goodyear knew.

At least I got to see a good pit road competition.

  5. it's done and over with.  Lets just move on.  To POCONO!!

    GO ROWDY!!!!

  6. they do that a lot.

I wonder how much money it cost?

I say bring on the other manufacturers.

  7. A little too late, but it is time move on. Let's go to Pocono.

  8. it sounds sincere. with that being said, i think it's time to move on and focus on Pocono, and leave what happened at Indy, at Indy.

  9. I read part of an apology.  A day late and a dollar short.

To those who say it is over and just move on,  It is not over, It is a continuing problem with the powers that be and their desire for absolute control with the maximum possible secrecy concerning their rules from the public.  From what I can gather a large part of the problem was NASCAR's refusal to allow Goodyear more flexibility in the overall design of tires.

  10. A real appology would be refunding some of the ticket cost and possiblly not counting the race in the chase  I have nothing against Jimmy but I am not sur if talant or just pure luck of the tire draw won this race

  11. I dont know who they are trying to fool, they knew those tires were wrong for that track a month ago .

  12. Ha...!!!

See? I told everyone it was NASCAR and Goodyear. What gets me is they said they shipped the wrong tires during live coverage of the race. Now they are saying it's the wrong compound. So that's proof that NASCAR flat out lies.

What do they expect?.... A bunch of stupid fans? We know the d**n truth. They might can shut up the drivers but they can't shut the fans up.

Tony Stewart had been banned from tire tests by Goodyear for speaking out against their tires. I am curious if they'll ask him to rejoin?

  13. It,s o.k.Nascar will fix the problem....Don,t they always?I say lets test some different brands in the off season...Maybe it,s time for a new tire company..h**l we changed everything else!!!!

  14. About time

  15. Easy when it's after the fact.

  16. I have to feel Nascar was genuine in their apology. They never wanted anything like what happened Sunday to happen. However, I do think Nascar & Goodyear knew there had to be some kinda trouble because they did have a tire test in April and from practice on Friday(from April to late July they had to know the track was going to be different) and they knew the track is very abrasive.

I do think as a fan(me) I will move on and look forward to this weekends race in Pocono and hope nothing happens like it did this past weekend and we have a great race.
