  1. Honey, he makes history every night.  Can't you tell?

  2. I don't know,  I went to sleep and woke up at the conclusion.

  3. It was better than I expected. He went into more detail than he has thus far but still hasn't said how he plans to pay for all these plans. The top 5% of American earners already pay over 90% of the taxes so how can Obama cut taxes for 95% of people. You can only put so much of a burden on the rich at some point they will stop creating businesses if all there money is going to be taken away.

  4. It was a great speech. It made history because it was the first time an African American was selected to lead one of the two major parties. He did a great job of explaining what he plans to do while attacking McCain's voting record.

  5. Thats not important...

what is important is McCain picking a woman

I think McCain tooh the umph  from Obama

    BIG TIME!!!!

  6. full of lofty things but thin in substance and not accurate

  7. Nothing new, maybe a bit more specific but he purposely left out the fact that in order to accomplish all his goals, we will all be taxed like crazy! Nothing in life is free - we all end up paying for it.

    McCain-Palin 08

  8. yes he made history..he was the first african american to accept a major party nomination..people of any political party can see that..I thought the speech was inspiring

  9. It  was superb.

  10. I liked it for the dynamics and speech but it was same old DEM rhetoric. Great speaker though.  See, I can compliment the other side.

  11. He laid out his plans and dismissed the accusations.

President Obama is going to fix this country.

  12. He finally showed his true colors.

The huge disembodied Obama heads on the Orwellian screens smacked of 1984 and made my blood run cold.

The Democrats have nothing but the same old tired promises that they have never fulfilled.

A glass half empty view of life.

    How sad for them.

More politics of personal destruction as speaker after speaker made direct attacks on McCain's character.

This is not an America that I ever thought I would see.

  13. He promise them the world and the coward ate it up.

He never mention how he is going to pay for it all.

    Raise taxes maybe?

With today's news Obama took a major hit and his speech is now in the back seat.

  14. He answered many questions that right wingers have been asking. His speech was very concise and clearly one of the better campagin speeches in decades. He showed the idiocy of the fears and the sillyness of his worse critics- those with baseless fears.

    He outlined his platform brilliantly

  15. He's a windbag who will suck as president.

  16. The best part about watching it?

    Was not watching it.

  17. God No. It honestly sounded like every single other speech I have heard from Obama in my life. He said nothing of substance.. A few attacks on the competition and what not, but laid out zero for his plans on Iraq, the Economy, Abortion, Social Security, Immigration, etc etc.... He just kept talking about how he would "change" things and they would "get better", without saying how. That is Obama's largest downfall and will be the reason he loses this election, he doesn't back anything up .

  18. Same old talk of change and yet, he offered nothing of substance as usual.

    He's like a broken record.

  19. It was a great speech. The delivery was excellent. The only problem with it was the numerous falsehoods it contained.

  20. I thought he did a good job. Now lets see if he actually comes through with his promises if he is elected!

  21. GRAND SLAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  22. He promised everything he cannot possibly deliver, as expected.

  23. Same old c**p as always. Empty promises. Does any one really believe that a President can change everything? No, one needs congress, etc.

Thus, "change" is just an other word.

I hope McCain becomes President for 4 years and thereafter, Hillary will run and become the first female president.

  24. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  25. He obviously made history last night!

The first black man to give a presidential acceptance speech.

He is making history every minute.

  26. It was one of the best speeches that I have heard.  I was very pleased and proud of the way the Democrats pulled off the convention.  I'm ready for them to take the helm of the country now.  I was glad that he finally called McCain out (which I believe that he should have done a long time ago).

  27. He does well during speeches he has telepromters on. I don't think it was the best of this campaign, but was good. He bashed McCain more than he told us what expirience he had, but it was good.

    McCain/Palin '08

  28. Full of clever deceptions.

He won't cut middle class taxes of capital gains for small businesses...he is parsing his words in much the same way Clinton did.

He simply cannot raise taxes high enough on people making over $250,000 to generate enough money for his Universal Healthcare plan---he'd have to raise their taxes to 225%...and that assumes that their salaries would stay the same---people adjust their incomes based on how much govt would take from them.

    Its all lies.

  29. I thought it was boring and typical. Making a bunch of promises that he knows he can't and won't keep.

  30. Yawn.

  31. He hit it out of the park!
