  1. The annoying thing is that £50billion of tax payers money has be used to bail the banks out. The people at the top still get their bonuses & the people at the bottom still get repossessed. But its the people at the bottom that bailed the banks out with their tax's yet they get no help. It seems the government shafts the people to make sure the people in the banking sector get their big bonuses. Basically the banks are not accountable for anything. They can literally get away with murder.

Edit:- People with reasonable mortgages get in trouble from time to time. I would agree that some people borrowed to much money. But at the same time the banks lent to much money & got into trouble. So why do we bail the banks out with tax payers money.

  2. I didn't see the documentary. I don't need to, banks have always won they very rarely lose, it is only us the fools who use them that ever lose.

  3. The banks are holding the Great Britain and its people by the bollocks and there isnt a thing we can do about it, even Gordon Brown is powerless and the worst thing is, they are getting away with daylight robbery every minute of every day,

  4. You should watch the film I.O.U.S.A. which talking about the bankruptcy status of U.S. Banking System and Wall Street.

  5. 2 interesting facts caught my eye:

In 2006 over 1 million people took out mortgages of 6 times their salary.

In 2006 circa 40,000 people took out mortgages of 10 times their salary.

    Crazy fools.

  6. My bank has always treated me well. If I ever spent their money without asking I'd expect to be charged a fee. They aren't charities.

  7. I think the CEO's of the banks were wrong not to go on camera it just proves how greedy the banks are. If I had a choice not to have a bank account I would not have one, because bank charges are legalised theft. And its also the greedy buy to let market is another reason why the UK is in recession.

  8. Well its a mixture of personal greed and the child-catcher handing out sweeties to the gullible.

My debt is my own fault, not theirs. But it wil never happen again, that's for d**n sure.

  9. A testament to the GOD of Banking & Money - 'MAMMON'

  10. you bet ye.

  11. They're on you like a tonne of bricks if you owe them money if it's their mistake then watch out! They refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes and conveniently call it human error. It makes me laugh at the irony of their double standards. It is about time this problem was addressed.

  12. I didn't watch it.  I am fed up of people blaming banks for all their woes when the fact is a lot of these people are financial morons who are unable to put a brake on their own profligate spending.  Then they moan because they can't afford repayments on the loan that they took out of their own free will.  Here's a tip - if you can't afford that plasma TV / car / holiday in Disney World DON'T HAVE IT!!!!!!!!!  Then you won't have to find the money to pay the bank back every month. It's not rocket science.
