Pittsburgh didn't score? We were all glued to the tv and were thinking that Pittsburgh might score or if they didn't we would know they are truly stupid. Wasn't that amazing when it was down to the 3 sweds and Zetterberg ran off with the puck out of the wing's zone until the power play ran out? This is why the Red Wings are definately going to win...

  1. Henrik and Co. did an amazing job on the penalty kill.Chris Osgood looked fantastic during the 5-on-3.Great job by the Wings and just that showed why the Wings deserve the cup.

  2. That was definately Zetterbergs penalty kill (his moment to SHINE)

  3. I was soooooooo impressed with Zetty.........wow...I knew the cup was ours right then and there.

  4. Zetterberg was fantastic on that kill.  All of the Wings were.  I was almost certain that the Pens would tie it and that would have given them a strong boost of momentum and they probably tie the series, but the three Sweeds and Osgood kept the Pens on the losing end of the tilt.

I also lost a lot of respect for Michel Therrien last night during his press conference when he was trying to deflect the praise away from Zetterberg and just saying "We didn't execute".  I know he's on the opposing team, but give the devil his due.  Hank played great.  He should have some more hardware to prove it.  (Sorry Ozzie)

  5. Osgood is amazing and the RW have awesome defense. Plus they should have taken Malkin off the ice for it. IDK I remember during the Rangers Pengs game when the Rangers didn't score during a 5 on 3 and no one gave them HALF the credit the RW are getting.

  6. I was sitting in a sports bar with friends, and one of my friends was surprised at how excited I was. I told her I loved watching the Wings kill 5-on-3 situations, and just keep your eyes on Zetterberg!

He was amazing. Did you see where he sent it deep, got a shot on goal, retrieved the rebound, then when the Pens got possession, the Wings were standing on the PENGUINS blue line to defend? That had to really rattle in their skulls.

That shift solidified my contention that Zetterberg deserves the Conn Smythe, as sentimental as we all are about Ozzie. He was everywhere.

  7. Zetterberg saved the wings there, i think he should get the con smythe when the wings win tommorrow
