  1. I was in my french class, and the principal walked into our class, whispered something to my teacher- and then they brought a tv into our class and we found out. we were like "no way" and some of us were like "I thought those towers were in seattle?!" (lol.. dumb kids)

  2. It did not change history.  It is a part of our history.

What do I think of our country?  I think our government should not be trusted, are very dangerous and as for the rest of the people, I think it is our responsibility to stand up to them and stop trusting authority so much.  But more people will not start doing this until things get far worse, unfortunately.

  3. i live in australia and even i felt deeply affected by the attack- it was very upsetting as at the time i had relatives working in buildings surrounding the tower. it was hard to believe it happened and quite surreal and hopefuul it never happens again.

  4. It has changed more than just america.

Starting with the U.S though, it allowed the passing of stupid acts like the patriot act and it allowed your government to start yet another war without an awful lot of proof, subsequently affecting Iraq, Afghanistan and very nearly Iran.

  5. It temporarily opened people's eyes to just how terrible these Islamic terrorists are, now of course people labor under the delusion that if we leave them alone they'll leave us alone.  They're terrorists not bumble bees.

  6. as others said this event marked my life and many others becoming part of history , as a new yorker words cannot describe the feelings of that day, the looks in peoples faces and the condolences we gave each other with one look when someone past you by, the tears we have all cried stayed with us. I believe the fact that our government used the emotion and the pain of american citizen's to launch a war "on terror" makes me angry, we all know this war has nothing to do with what happened that day
