  1. I preferred the p**n remake - 'Shaving Ryan's Privates'.

  2. i love that film robin williams and matt damon are ace in it minnie driver is funny and its what got me into elliott smith

i cant really think of anything that annoyed me about it so that must be a sign that i liked the direction

edit - lmao i answered for good will hunting!  absolutely lmao im losing it

  3. to be honest i found the film annoying

  4. pretty amazing movie .... i love the part where the old veteran and his family are at the funeral and the camera zooms into his eyes and it takes you into his memory of the war .. wonderful.

  5. It was a very good film, I think it is the best at telling people what soldiers went through during World War Two,(besides the actual footage) it may be very sad but it's what happened to many soldiers.

  6. Holy c**p!

It was an AMAZING movie, a 10/10

But more technical, the movie was really realistic. Apparently it made veterans feel scared, how how real it was. It teaches you the horror those poor young men when through. It also teaches the the germans werent that bad, like they were but its only because Hitler made them, he forced them. Example: When Corporal Upham convinces Cpt. Miller to let that german go, and later they meet and the german lets Corporal Upham go.

  7. it was like watching good p**n but better

  8. I'm not a director but the landing at Omaha beach scene actually made me disoriented in the theater. Some of the scenes they made a little too hollywood. If they had left those out it would have been a perfect war film.
