I thought the McCollough fight was a little disappointig because every other fight we goes wild and wont stop swinging, and usually wins with a KO. The Miguel Torres fight was great, and the Faber Pulver fight was great. I didnt expect it to go five rounds, and i didnt expect Faber to beat Pulver standing. I guessed Faber would take him to the ground and try and pull out a submission. What did you think about all of the fights?

  1. I only saw the Torres vs Maeda and Faber vs Pulver fights, both of which were incredible!!

I was kinda hoping Pulver would take down Faber, but at the same time I wanted Faber to keep his title... All in all that was an absolutely incredible fight all around and the respect that they have for each other, even before the fighting, is awesome!  I love seeing those fighters do that kind of fighting... it shows why that is considered a sport to those who just don't get it.

  2. the only entertaining fight besides Faber/Pulver, was Torres/Maeda, that's it.  they were both good fights.

  3. i thought it was a pretty good card.Definantly better then the one the night before.Realy impressed with torres out if indiana

  4. I thought the fights were great except the rob mccollough fight which was boring and got worst as it progressed because both fighters weren't doing much. The rest of the fights were great. I really liked the faber pulver fight but the best of the evening for me was the torres maeda fight because the double toe hold was just great.

  5. Torres had a great advantage. He's quick and a great reach compared to Maeda. And he's aggressive as h**l and consistent with it. He kept stepping it up into Maeda's face.

Faber to my surprised did well stand up and even outmatched Pulver in my opinion by a lot. I was surprised how ineffective Pulver was against Faber on stand up. On the ground, Faber had the edge too which I'm not surprised. Seems to me Pulver already gave up at rd5 and was just hanging on to not get KOed. But he was impressive that he actually hung on to all 5 rounds. Faber is darn versatile. Would love to see him step up to UFC and take the lightweight away from Penn. Would be interesting to see those two fight.

  6. I almost lost interest in MMA after watching the Elite fights on Saturday night (with the exception of the Lawler fight which was ok, but still a premature stoppage), but after watching WEC, it reminded of what i love about the sport.  Overall, great card, the main event was everything I expected, no disappointments here.
