I just want to see if I am the only one disgusted by the fact that she said she was doing the interview because he deserves to be known by more than his last acts... I understand she is grieving, but i think he gave up his right to be known for anything other than being a killer...Am I being heartless for feeling this way? Hearing her say that made me sick..if you didnt see it, its on cnn

  1. i understand how u feel

its a scary world out there

and i go to a university in tx and its like everyday i worry about something awful happening like that

    its scary

people shouldnt try to make it scarier

  2. What he did was sick, but he may not have been a sick person. It's the normal human instinct to now see him as a crazy psychopath after what he did, but that doesn't mean he was. I think that's what she's trying to say. When I first saw it I was shocked too. But I can't imagine having a normal boyfriend one day and then having a dead psycho the next. I think she's more likely trying to justify her being with him more than defend his actions.

  3. I'm still trying to find out what was discovered regarding the Crandon Massacre in Wisc. last year. The media has pretended that it doesn't exist. Nor the murders by deputies in Humboldt County, CA. and many many more.

I think that the less sympathy shown to creeps like the NIU shooter the better. The more the media uses such things to sell air time, the more copy cats that go out and do it again. With automobiles (Penna), fire (NY), or firearms.

  4. CNN should be ashamed to exploit that young woman when she was grieving and dealing with the horror of learning what her boyfriend did.  Under the same circumstances, I could not guarantee I could say anything to the media that would approach being a reasoned statement.

The television stations have been swarming the campus at NIU, shoving microphones in the faces of people who are clearly in shock.  It is sad and horrible.

  5. I blame the Prozac, and the doctors that prescribed it.my doctor never told me about it i heard on the news and read it on the internet and in magazines that it caused some people that would not otherwise kill anyone, to commit murder IN THE 90s and even if he hadn't taken it in a few days it was still in his system
